The APHA–370 measures hydrocarbon in ambient air using a combination of a flame ionization detection (FID) method and a selective combustion system. Therefore, the APHA-370 has the advantage of a single detector method plus the ability to perform continuous measurements, free of zero drift, for THC, NMHC and CH4.
The analyzer can be operated by using the interactive LCD touch-screen or from a computer at a remote location.
All features are built into a single rack–sized instrument, including a sampling pump, a catalytic unit for selective combustion, and for generating reference gas and auxiliary combustion air.
Data is stored internally and can be transmitted to external devices via the system’s RS – 232C serial port. Modbus and Ethernet communication is also available. A Compact Flash memory unit is available to collect and store data for off-line analysis, or in stand-alone mode.
The APHA-370 comes in a rugged 19-inch case containing Horiba’s “high performance & low maintenance” design.
